Cosplay Quizy-poo

I'm currently recovering from a knee surgery I had last week.
Yey for extreme drowsiness~! 8D ))

And now for an extensive cosplay themed info-dump.

[ 1 ] What was your first cosplay?

My first cosplay ever was Sailor Mars for Halloween.
But if we're only counting those done at Cons,
Then Marluxia seen in both CoM and KH2.


[ 2 ] Did someone get you into cosplay? Or on your own?

Well, the ones who really got me into cosplaying/Cons were :iconokami-hime: and :iconflamingaku:.
If it weren't for them trying to band together a cosplay group for MegaCon one day at lunch in my Sophomore year,
Cosplaying may have never become one of my more-than-annual social activities D:


[ 3 ] What is your favorite cosplay?

Right now, my Kraehe cosplay is my pride and glory,
The toe shoes easily turning heads as my Tutu and myself go on pointe for a picture.
The Itsuka May cosplay I'm currently working on may (( LOL, PUN? )) steal her spotlight, but we'll have to wait and see~


[ 4 ] Which is your least favorite cosplay?

That would have to be Marluxia.
I love him and all because he was my first,
But HOT FUCK, that getup of his's just way too damn hot!


[ 5 ] At conventions, do people compliment you on your cosplays?

After the first two Cons when I had one failure of a cosplay,
Yes, I've been complimented every single time.

It's a good feeling but you have to work and plan for it.
Personally, I'm just glad that the cosplaying community's so helpful and inviting.
Just another reason why anime conventions are so much fun.


[ 6 ] How many have you done?

HURR~ Completed, you mean?

Well, I've got about 3--soon to be 4.
Marluxia (KH2), Gothic Lolita Kimono Girl, Kraehe (Tutu), and May (Guilty Gear).

Some day that Azure Balmung cosplay will be wrangled and defeated!!


[ 7 ] What are the top 6 on your list of "Want to Cosplay"?

Hahaha--ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Do you really want to ask my this question?

/1/ a good and tasteful Naruko with a sexy Sasuke companion
/2/ Zack--not sure why but oh well
/3/ Uchiha Madara, the bastard himself
/4 Dizzy, just because her wings are so damned hard
/5/ Azure Balmung, shark teefs and all
/6/ Tifa, because she's better than Flower Girl could ever be ;D


[ 8 ] What female cosplay do you want to do most?

A good, classy, non-cliche Naruko.
Why? Because the idea I have in my head is just so cute--!

You'll all see.
When I lose weight and get that Sasuke~ C;


[ 9 ] What male?

That'd have to be Uchiha Madara.
All because I'm obsessed with his plated armor of oldness.

...

And I like his massive hair.
It reminds me of my DBZ days of Raditz.


[ 10 ] What do you prefer to do, make or buy your costumes?

Well, as a pride issue,
I like to make mine as opposed to buy them.

That and they tend to fit better home made.
Yeah, you can buy stuff custom, but they can only guess so close.

Making it at home makes it more personal,
And when you enter a contest and win you feel more accomplished.
Well...at least that's what I think > >;


[ 11 ] Your dream cosplay?

Didn't I already address this?
I want to be a really well done Naruko,
With a Sasuke (( LOL, boyfriend? )) to match~! :'D


[ 13 ] Is there a pattern in your cosplays Characters? If so, what?

Aside from me cosplaying a lot of feminine characters?
Well, I've been cosplaying mostly guys, but that's starting to level out.


[ 13 ] Your most recent cosplay?

Not counting the soon-to-be-finished May cosplay,
Kraehe from Princess Tutu is my most recent, and most intricate yet.


[ 14 ] What do you prefer? Cosplaying in a group or on your own?

While cosplaying alone allows for more leeway,
Group cosplays are more fun socially and make recognizing cosplays easier.
Like if you were to cosplau Chihiro from Spirited Away you would definitely need a group to be recognized.


[ 15 ] Tag three or more of your friends.
